The apartment is located in a luxury and very safe building with 24/7 doorman. Very large and sunny as the living room has large glazzing windows and a small balcony overlooking the building's hanging garden and the street. The apartment is at the 2nd Floor (3rd American floor) with an elevator.
There is a comfortable Murphy bed, US kitchen fully equipped with a fancy bar and large closets in the entrance. Beautiful bathroom with separated toilet.

The apartment is located in the most upscale area of Paris next to the stunning Eiffel Tower and the Seine river. If you walk 10mn, you find the tremendous Arc de Triomphe and the prestigious avenue des Champs-Elysées, deemed to be the most beautiful avenue in the world. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. If you want to live like a typical Parisian, you have multiple specialty stores near the apartment where you can find the best selection of bread, cheese and wine as well as French catering boutiques where you can get the finest food to enjoy the French gastronomy. Finally, the nearest grocery store is just down the building!

Yes. The apartment is located in the very chic and secure 16th arrondissement of Paris. Also, there is a police office right on the street where the building is located. The apartment is next to the Eiffel Tower and place du Trocadéro where it is always lively in typical Parisian cafés. The streets are well-lit at night, there 24h/7 days a week doorman in the building that could assist you. Furthermore, our family live in the same district so we are at your disposal if need be.
4. How do I get there from the airport? How much is it?
-- RER + Metro : 9 euros by RER B from Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport, then make the connection to take the Métro and stop at "Trocadéro" + a short walk to the apartment (with a first view on the Eiffel Tower!)
-- TAXI : 35-50 Euros
-- BUS AIR FRANCE : 15 euros from Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport to Place Charles de Gaulle Etoile next to Arc de Triomphe + a short walk, bus (2 euros) or taxi (less than 7 euros) .

The apartment was lovely with everything we could ever want. Special note for the charming "marche" in the neighbourhood with traditional products.

We really enjoyed our stay in your apartment in Paris! Such a perfect location, not very touristy, great supermarket downstairs and close to the metro station. Apartment had absolutely everything we needed and even more, our favorite being nespresso machine and tetsubin tea pot :)

ReplyDeleteWe LOVED the apartment. The location was excellent and it was extremely comfortable. Our only difficulty was not being able to work out how to get English subtitles on the TV.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon from California. It was an extremely enjoyable stay for us. The apartment was very clean and tidy and everything worked as it should.
ReplyDeleteAll of the amenities were present, as listed. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to see the Eiffel Tower by merely walking a couple minutes from the apartment.
I will not hesitate to recommend this apartment to my world traveling friends and family.

It has everything you need, plus it is very safe which was essential for me.
My wife and I had the time of our life in Paris. The apartment was perfect! We experienced Paris as a local - It was near wonderful cafe's, markets, shopping, etc. The short walk to the metro has the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop. The apartment was just as it was described in the blog. Perfect setting at a great price.

We stayed here for a week in October 2010. The apartment is in the perfect location. Not too touristy but close to everything. Great restaurants nearby, a grocery store literally next to the apartment, etc. The building was safe and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The apartment was exactly as advertised and the pictures are very accurate. We had everything we needed and the price was right!

Very neat, comfortable, well equiped down to the nespresso machine. I highly recommand it. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Thums up to the charming owner.

My 8 year old and I enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime mother-son experience - 10 days in Paris. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. Quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped...and moments from amenities, sights, and metro stations. I would return in a heartbeat!

ReplyDeleteHowever, we do have very fond memories of staying in your apartment in Paris on the rue des Sablons, 16. Arrondissement.
We found the apartment very comfortable: its pleasant decor and the very comfortable bed were just as pleasing as the well equipped kitchen. I liked the bathroom!
You were right, the shopping center below the apartments was very convenient. Nice selection of everything. The Restaurant around the corner, I believe was called "16" , was exceptional.
It is too early to make plants for the future, but we will certainly keep your apartment in mind, when we come back to Paris. Best wishes to you and you mother (very nice lady!)
